It is equally good both in single plantings against the background of a lawn and in group flower arrangements and is also indispensable for decorating alpine slides.
With prolonged cultivation, abundant self-seeding is observed. For early and abundant flowering, seedlings are sown in early spring.
Seeds can also be sown in autumn, preferably from August 10 to September 10. After rooting, leaf rosettes are cut off, removing flower stalks.
Viola prefers moderate temperatures, so it is recommended to plant it in partial shade, or in combination with taller plants.
